I love that glowing tear.
The overall comp has a nice drama without pushing it.. tasteful, in otherwords. >_^
Feel free to suicidebomb me if this offends you, but I had a little advice-- to keep the woman and bird from looking unnaturally placed (though you did really good compared to most people), you can blur the edges of them a speck, usually on their own layer, to make them mesh with the background a little. A quick way to do that in photoshop is to magic wand select the negative space around them, go to selection-modify-expand (like 2 pixels give or take) and then selection-feather (like 3 pix or so) then use some blur filterage. >_^
But you did a great job on matching the subjects' color resolution/brightness to the setting, too, which no one else seems to have an eye for.
